  2. Hey, I like your post. I thought or mantle and outer core were semi solid like that of fudge. the lava is only fluid because of the water content of the tectonic plates that are diving down into the mantle and once the plate melts away the resulting magma that comes up from 100-300mi down is 100% liquid at high pressure blasts its way up.
